BEFORE YOU COME IN
Better you know this before the evaluation than feel surprised during it. These are the six things our buyer looks at first on a Toyota.
01The gap is wider on Toyota than on most brands, because GCC-spec Land Cruisers and Prados have their own resale market here. A Japanese or American import of the same model sits meaningfully lower.
02Al-Futtaim stamps carry real weight on a Toyota, particularly on Land Cruiser and Prado. A documented specialist history is the next best thing. No records at all is what costs you.
03Value steps down at the round numbers: 100k, 150k, 200k. Toyotas keep selling well past all three, but if you are sitting just under one, coming in sooner usually pays.
04Land Cruisers and Prados in original paint command a premium because buyers here actively check. Repaired damage does not stop a sale, but a paint gauge finds it in two minutes, so declare it.
05Unpaid fines block an RTA transfer entirely. Tell us upfront and we factor them in rather than discovering them at the counter.
06Four tyres past their date code, a cracked windscreen, a missing spare key. Each is a line item. The cheap ones are worth fixing first, the expensive ones are not.
