BEFORE YOU COME IN
Better you know this before the evaluation than feel surprised during it. These are the six things our buyer looks at first on a Lexus.
01Worth more on Lexus than on almost any other brand in Dubai. Buyers here specifically ask for it, and a complete agency record can be the difference between a quick sale and a slow one, which shows up in what we can pay.
02The gap is significant on Lexus, particularly on LX and ES. Japanese-market imports carry different equipment and different cooling, and they resell more slowly in this climate.
03Large Lexus SUVs are checked with a paint gauge by nearly every serious buyer here. Repaired panels are not a dealbreaker, but an undeclared respray costs more in trust than it does in dirhams.
04On ES300h, RX450h, NX and UX, the battery report is a real line item. Bring it if you have one. Without it we assess it ourselves, which is slower and more conservative.
05Unpaid fines block an RTA transfer entirely. Tell us upfront and we factor them in rather than discovering them at the counter.
06Standard line items, but the tyre cost on an LX is high enough to be worth checking before you drive over rather than after.
