BEFORE YOU COME IN
Better you know this before the evaluation than feel surprised during it. These are the six things our buyer looks at first on a Mercedes.
01The steepest value drop on a Mercedes in Dubai happens at the end of the factory warranty. A car with warranty or a service contract still running is worth meaningfully more, so bring the documentation.
02Stamps from an authorised centre carry weight here, particularly on S-Class, GLE and AMG. A documented specialist history is the next best thing. Gaps in the record cost you more on a Mercedes than on a Japanese car.
03On GLE, GLS, S-Class and G-Class, the suspension and electronics get tested rather than assumed. A working system removes a large unknown from the figure, and a faulty one is better declared than discovered.
04Repaired damage is normal and does not stop a sale. A paint gauge finds it in two minutes, so declaring it upfront costs you nothing and hiding it costs trust as well as money.
05Unpaid fines block an RTA transfer entirely. Tell us upfront and we factor them in rather than discovering them at the counter.
06Standard line items, though on AMG and large SUVs the tyre and brake costs are high enough to be worth checking before you drive over.
